 For this week, I chose to do a reading over the Ramayana and about Rama and Sita specifically. My notes over it include.....

• Rama was set out to marry Sita
• They were both madly and deeply in love with one another
• Rama was born and trained to be a warrior and he grew up noble
• Rama and his brother Lakshman were sent to fight Ravana's warriors and they won
• Whoever was able to bend the bow of Janaka was promised the hand of his daughter Sita
• Rama was able to bend it so easily that everyone was shocked
• Rama was exiled to the forest for 14 years and Sita begged to go with him
• Rama's brother also begged to come 
• Rama said no at first to both of them but later caved in
• Throughout his journey Rama met many people that helped him in various ways
